CONFIDENTIALITY

Counseling, communication, correspondence and appointments are kept in the utmost confidence. There isn’t any information given to CEDA International Corporation, so the company is unaware of which employees have sought counseling, unless you have had a mandatory referral to EAP.

Information will only be released to your employer if there is a signed consent from you, the employee.

WHY HAVE AN EAP?

CEDA International Corporation recognizes that our employees are our most valuable resource. Like anyone else, our employees may encounter personal stresses that can adversely affect their health, happiness, family relationships, and work life. Because of our concern for the well being of our employees CEDA International Corporation wants to offer support and assistance.

WHAT IS THE FIRST STEP?

A request for assistance may be initiated directly by you or a family member. Call the SAS office nearest you for assistance. They are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Once eligibility has been confirmed, individual appointments can usually be provided within 48 hours or immediately, in the case of an emergency.

HOW DOES THE EAP WORK?

Once you access the EAP, the confidential services provided by SAS will include a thorough assessment, short term counseling, and a determination of the most effective treatment or counseling resources, including referral and case management services. The ultimate goal is the identification and resolution of issues interfering with a person’s sense of well being.

The EAP is funded completely by CEDA International Corporation, to a maximum of six hours per year for each family member.
