CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
CEDA International Corporation is committed to ensuring our business is conducted in a manner which enhances the security of our customers, employees, the public and the environment.
Each employee has a commitment to comply with the environmental polices, procedures, environmental management system (EMS) and rules and regulations implemented at CEDA. These policies include best management practices for the protection of air, land and water and incorporate all local, provincial and federal laws, rules and regulations. Compliance with the relevant environmental legislation is recognized as a minimum level of performance.
Employees are trained as required by federal, provincial and local laws and regulations and are made aware of the potential environmental effects of their activities. Employees are also encouraged to identify and propose solutions to environmental challenges. Relevant information will be communicated to employees, carriers, government and the general public.
Reporting of environmental incidents will be done in a timely manner, and CEDA specially trained and equipped Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) can respond to environmental incidents, as required.
CEDA is committed to reducing the creation of waste by the adoption of improved operating practices and by recycling materials whenever practical. All hazardous and non-hazardous waste is disposed of in a safe and responsible manner.
We are committed to continually improving our practices to reduce our impact on the environment.
