As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the coordination and execution of construction or turnaround projects and act as the lead PM to specially appointed projects to achieve each project’s objective. Reporting directly to the Division Manager, you will take the initiative to develop strategic plans that maintain and add to our existing customer base while promoting our products and services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

*Coordinate manpower and equipment requirements by evaluating and maximizing existing resources
*Ensure that projects are set up and managed in accordance with company and client policies and procedures
*Provide leadership and expertise on overall project cost, schedule, progress measurement, and change management leadership
*Review and provide recommendations on contracts and cost estimates
*Ensure chain of command is updated on project processes
*Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients
*Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets; recommend allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals
*Assess, plan and implement training and staff development to improve employee productivity and organization’s overall performance

Role Specifications:
*7-10 years of experience in an Industrial Project Manager role in the oil & gas sector
*Experience overseeing mechanical and / or piping projects
*Experience on projects with a scope of $50 million or more
*Willingness and ability to travel and have a flexible schedule
*Versed in the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel)
*PMP designation is considered an asset
*Ability to prioritize and execute innovative solutions
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to manage time effectively, enabling you to achieve tight timelines
*Uncompromising commitment to health and safety
*Ability to pass CEDA’s pre-employment requirements
****A 14/7 or 9/5 rotation is available for this role***
