TUBE SIDE BUNDLE CLEANING
At CEDA, we have numerous non-manual tube cleaning systems from five-lance units, operating up to 20,000 psi to single-lance units operating at 36,000 psi @ 5 gpm.
CEDA high-pressure units are not set up with auto throttle. This ensures that the exchanger tubes are as clean at the start as they are at the finish. With the use of automated equipment, exchanger tubes can be cleaned in both directions. Once again these systems provide for the safety of personnel by placing them a safe distance away from the cleaning operation.
INTERNAL BUNDLE CLEANER/MULTI-LANCE UNITS
The quad lancing system is ground mounted and is capable of up to 20,000 psi @ 75 gpm. CEDA's newest five-lance unit has a maximum working height of 106 inches. The maximum working length is 374 in. with a lance speed of 0-6.5 ft/sec. The recommended flow on this unit is 47.5 gpm when all five lances are used.
Due to the unit's weight and the speed of the lances, the machine is very stable and has enough power to clean bundles efficiently and cost effectively. All controls are located inside the cabin, next to the operator, creating an unobstructed view and comfortable working position.
1-LTC LANCING SYSTEM
CEDA's 1 lance tube cleaner (1-LTC) is a breakthrough in bundle cleaning technology. The key to the 1-LTC achieving excellent cleaning results is due to the consistent speed control during front and back cleaning.
The high-pressure hose is moved back and forth by the means of friction blocks fitted onto chains. Through the use of the hand control, the operator is able to control direction of the hose in any cleaning application. If an operator encounters an extreme blockage, they can manipulate the hose safely in and out of the tube opening as required to clear the blockage.
With safety features such as the ability to adjust to various resistances and operating conditions, the 1-LTC helps CEDA provide some of the safest and most productive employees in the world. With a weight of only 19 lbs., the 1-LTC allows operators to work for longer periods and places them at a safe working distance. The optional shoulder strap allows for maximum weight distribution and makes for an almost effortless operation. Numerous nozzle and hose configurations allow us to provide tailor made solutions for each client's unique cleaning requirements.
3-TLE LANCING SYSTEM
CEDA's 3-Lance TLE Special is another new addition to our ever-changing technological capabilities. This new way of cleaning bundles allows the use of flex lances with the capacity of a rigid lancing machine. Our 3-Lance TLE Special is suitable for in-situ bundles, air fin coolers, condensers, furnaces and normal heat exchangers.
Operation of the unit is through the use of remote control, which places the operator safely away from the cleaning operation. There is a range of automated operation types, including a simple in-and-out movement, or an oscillating movement,
for the removal of extremely hard products.
