UHP Waterblasting & Cutting

At CEDA we have worked with our equipment manufacturer to build equipment that can handle higher pressures and lower volumes of water.

One example of our new technology is equipment cleaning for non-destructive testing. Using ultra-high-pressure equipment, cleaning easily can be accomplished to SP1 specifications. Some of the advantages are:

• No peening of the surfaces.
• No material erosion or damage to down stream equipment or product due to sand contamination.
• Environmentally friendly.
• Minimal cleanup time and disposal costs.

Ultra-high-pressure cutting is an excellent way to cut metal in hazardous atmospheres, such as hydrocarbon tanks or pipelines. It can also be used for concrete cutting and demolition, where conventional methods may cause damage from vibrations or dust. When removing concrete using this system, there is no damage to the existing rebar.
