Line Cleaning

CEDA's line cleaning system keeps personnel at safe distances when cleaning lines. The tool is attached to the flange to ensure there is no possibility of the hose coming loose and injuring personnel or damaging onsite equipment.

The roto-fan system can clean longer runs with more bends than conventional methods. The amount of elbows and the length of the run are based on pipe diameter and amount of debris encountered. In most cases, lines that are less than 250 ft. do not require any dismantling to be cleaned. Debris can be easily contained ensuring minimal environmental contamination and cleanup.

The system can be used on pipe diameters from 120 in. to as small as 2 in. and can clean up to 600 ft. of pipe in one pass. All cleaning parameters, such as rotating speed, forward speed and pressure are remotely controlled allowing the operator a safe and comfortable distance from the operating machinery.

The roto-fan system is the safest and most cost-effective way to clean lines, whether they are fouled with light water scale, coke or pulp mill liquor. The system can remove tough, hard or brittle encrustations with very high cleaning speeds, even in totally blocked pipes.

If necessary, the system is able to follow pipe junctions according to the requirements of the installed pipe system. The specific cleaning rates (feet of pipe per hour) are significantly higher than the conservative cleaning procedure.

Because the roto-fan system is extremely lightweight, it is easily transported manually up several stories. Its compact size allows for set up in spaces with limited access.

With the integrated pneumatic drive the roto-fan system can also be operated safely in a spark-free environment.
