LINE FREEZING
Line freezing involves installation of a freeze plug in a pipe that contains process fluids. The freeze plug allows your facility to perform maintenance on a process system without shutting down and draining the system being repaired. CEDA provides line-freezing services from eight locations across North America.
CEDA can perform line freezing on most piping materials. We can freeze most process liquids. Our technical service group will review your specific application to ensure that we can safely install a freeze plug in your system. This technology has applications in the refinery, petro-chemical, pipeline, pulp and paper, coal fire and nuclear generating stations and commercial building sectors.
