CEDA was founded on January 2, 1973, when a group of employees purchased their employer's industrial services division based in Alberta, Canada. CEDA recognized that motivated people are the most important resource of a service company. The founders of CEDA established several ongoing mechanisms designed to contribute to the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to long term customer satisfaction of CEDA's employees and affiliates.
At its inception, CEDA specialized in performing high pressure water blasting and vacuuming services and chemical cleaning services for the refining, petrochemical and power generating industries in western Canada. Since then CEDA has expanded to include a variety of other services.
